Harold D Barr

Harold Dene Barr was born December 24, 1936, in Mounds, Arkansas, and died August 1, 2023, in Sherwood, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Erma (Waits) Barr and Charlie Barr, and a great-granddaughter, Haylee May Morrow. He retired from Emerson Electric after 32 years in 1999.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Wilma Morgan Barr; daughter, Sheryl (John) Bishop; grandchildren, Heather (Sean) Bowman, Michael (Gwen Moss) Morrow, and Lindsay (Jeremy) Jones; great-grandchildren, Jeremy (Gabriella) Jackson, Caitlyn (Parker) Cain, Erin Davidson, Alexander and Sophia Jones, Madison, Jase and Bryce Morrow; two great-great grandchildren, Willow and Holland Dylan Cain; and honorary granddaughters, Amy, Julie and Sareena; and a host of other family and friends.

Under the direction of Wortham Funeral Home, funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2023, at Heath Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM and funeral beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Reddick Cemetery in Mounds..
