Gretta Louise Randol, 91, of Paragould, passed from this life on Sunday, June 2, 2024. Born on November 24, 1932, in Marmaduke, Louise was known for her unwavering dedication to her family and her passion for creativity.
Throughout her life, Louise found joy in the simple pleasures of painting, gardening, and tending to her yard blooming with colorful flowers. Her artistic talents extended beyond the canvas, as she spent many years honing her skills as a seamstress and as the owner of Dixie Cleaners. Louise loved to travel. She had a goal to visit all 48 continental states, however, there were three states she never saw: Washington, Oregon, and North Dakota. Her favorite pastime was fishing. Wherever she found water, Louise would cast a line. She spent many hours reeling in her catches.
In October of 1969, Louise married Willard Randol, and their union brought forth a beautiful family. She is survived by her loving children, Kitty (Dewayne) Witcher, Keith (Susan) Hill, Maelena (Louis) Phillips; Belinda Morris, and Patty (Jeffrey) Bozada; grandchildren, Jamie Hill, Ashley Friend, Earnie Hill, Richie Ermert, Brittany Killian, Jay Phillips, Mike Morris, and Valerie Simpson; sister, Kathryne Moore; eighteen great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Louise was preceded in death by her first husband, Leonard Hill; her second husband, Willard Randol; parents, Elbert and Mary Ruth Combs; granddaughter, Melanie Henley; grandson, Mark Simpson; great grandsons, Judd Killian and Grayson Hill; brothers, Tas Combs, Junior Combs, Raymond Combs; and sister, Hazel Stone.
A deeply devoted member of West View Baptist Church, Louise's faith guided her throughout her life, bringing solace and strength in times of need.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral to honor Louise's life will be held at Heath Funeral Home on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 11:00 AM, with Dr. Marc Reeves and Pastor Cody Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Greene County Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Louise's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She leaves behind a legacy of creativity, dedication, and love that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
