Glenda Faye Blasini

Glenda Faye Hicks Blasini, 67, of Pocahontas, passed from this life on Wednesday, August 2, 2023. She was born on October 15, 1955, in Paragould to the late Paul and Hazel Maxine Hicks. Glenda graduated from Greene County Tech. She married Raul Blasini on June 30, 2000. She attended Williams Baptist College where she earned a degree in psychology in 1993, business administration in 2005, and music in 2006. Glenda was an accompanist for choirs at Black River Technical College for almost 20 years. Glenda began playing the piano when she was three years old, and she continued playing for over 60 years. She loved piano so much that she became a piano instructor, and she taught numerous people how to play over the years. In her spare time, Glenda loved to play games and watch TV. She was a member of Southern Baptist Church in Pocahontas. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Glenda is survived by her husband, Raul Blasini; daughter, Melanie (Josh) Wise; grandchildren, Remington and Oliver Wise; and special friend, Donna Elliott-Hunter.

A graveside funeral will be Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 10 AM at Brown's Chapel Cemetery.
