Gladys Perry

Gladys G. Douglas Perry, 92, of Bentonville, Arkansas, formerly of Brookland and Paragould, died August 22, 2009. She was born July 3, 1917 in Delaplaine, Arkansas the daughter of the late Arlie and Myrtle McCullar Smith. She is of Assembly of God faith. Gladys is also preceded in death by her first husband, William Douglas; her second husband, Frank Perry; one son, William R. "Billy" Douglas; brothers, Clarence Smith; sister, Beatrice Richie; step brothers, Esco Huffine, Virgil Huffine, A.D. Huffine, step sister, Venita Mothershed. Survivors include her daughter, Reba Williams of Bend, Oregon; step sons, Larry , Roy , and Rick Perry; step daughter Barbara Thurney; sister, Texie Atkinson of Flint, Michigan; 5 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 PM at the Pine Log Church with Shannon Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.
