Gertrude Hairrell Boone

Gertrude Hairrell Boone, 87, of Paragould, died Thursday at St Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born October 7, 1922 in Waterloo, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Dora Webb Hairrell, son, Steven Boone, four brothers and one sister. She was a homemaker and a member of Florrisant Valley Baptist Church in Florrisant, Missouri. She is survived by her husband of 58 years: Lloyd Boone, of the home; son and daughter-in-law: Bruce and Karyn Boone of Temecula, CA; brother and sister-in-law: Larry and Joyce Hairrell of Rockford, IL; sisters and brother-in-law: Bonnie and Paul Bean and Lorett Clark of Jonesboro; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, at Heath Colonial Chapel. The celebration of her life will follow at Heath Colonial Chapel, 11:00 AM, Saturday with Reverend Paul Bean officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
