Geraldine Huffman

Geraldine Huffman, 78, formerly of Paragould, passed from this life on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. She was born on May 20, 1944, in Greene County to the late Melvin and Alma Huffman. She retired from manufacturing. In her spare time, Geraldine enjoyed swing dancing, reading, gardening, and doing puzzles and word searches. She was preceded in death by her parents; the father of her children, Ronnie Wilson; sister Dessie Butler; and granddaughter, Jessica Dalziel.

Geraldine is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Jean Crater of Matteson, Illinois, Sherrie Lynn Wilson of Bolingbrook, Illinois, Melanie Sue (Chris) Myers of St. Peters, Missouri; grandchildren, Amanda Sternisha, Christina Crater, Lauren Basham, Morgan Basham, and Wilson Myers; great grandchildren, Amber Gentry, Evan Griest, Warren Sternisha, Abigail Sternisha; great great grandchildren, Iylah Willis and Azo Willis; brother, Donald Huffman; and sisters, Bonnie Cathey and Wanda Sue Liles.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 12-2 pm at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral will begin at 2pm with Rev. Tommy Stacy officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery. Pallbearers are Chris Myers, Wilson Myers, Michael White, Kevin Liles, Kevin Myers, and Jacob Jones.
