Geraldine Dowden

Geraldine Dowden, 79 of Paragould, died at Arkansas Continued Care Hospital in Jonesboro Tuesday. She was born on August 7, 1939, in Paragould to Harold D. Cooper, Sr and Jewel Horton Cooper. She worked at the DFAS Financial Center in Indianapolis, IN. for 22 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Rocky Bryan, Sr. and granddaughter, Lauren Dosedel.

Survivors include Grandchildren, Elisha (David) Cox of Clarksville, TN, Heather Dowden and Rocky Bryan, Jr of Indianapolis, IN; brothers, Harold Dennis Cooper, Jr. of Paragould and Lance (Nyla) Cooper of Mandeville, LA; sisters Carolyn Cooper Phillips (Robert) of Paragould, Merrollee Atwood of Joelton, TN, Judy (Jim) Johnston and Brenda (William) Kelley both of Paragould. Great-grandchildren, Madison and Scott Dosedel, Peyton Cox and Caiden Avante. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday from 11-1 at Heath Funeral Home with services following at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Marc Reeves officiating. Burial will follow in New Friendship Cemetery.
Memorials may be sent to the Westview Baptist Church in Paragould.
