Gerald Lynn Tinsley

Gerald Lynn Tinsley, retired Army service connected disabled veteran, having served from June 30, 1972 - February 8, 1978 passed away Wednesday evening at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. He was born in Crockett, AR., near Piggott in Clay County.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleatus and Nettie Miller Tinsley, sister, Vernette Tinsley Nixon and brothers, Gary and Dale Tinsley.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy McCarty Tinsley of the home; son Bryan (Cham) Buchanan of Cherokee Village, AR.; daughters, LaTasha Fenton (John) of Texarkana, AR. and Shayla Angel Tinsley (Nick) of Cincinnati, OH.; brothers, Charles Tinsley (Mary Alice) of Paragould, AR, Reginald (Cindy) Tinsley of Fairdealing, MO., and Dennis (Mary) Tinsley of Kennett, MO.; thirteen grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be at 12:00 pm, Saturday, June 15th at New Haven Baptist Church in Paragould with a meal to follow.
