Major Gerald Carlton Freligh, Jr. of Houston, TX passed away on July 30, 2009. As a Special Forces Green Beret in the United States Army, Major Freligh dedicated 14 years of his life to protecting his country. In addition to being the American Advisor to Honduras, he also served as the Military Liason Officer to Latin America. Gerald was born on September 15, 1955, in Memphis, TN. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Carlton Freligh, Sr. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Freligh of Houston, TX; his mother, Pat Freligh of Paragould; brother, David Lee Freligh of Forrest City, AR; sons, Daniel and Justin Freligh of Paragould; granddaughter, Abigail Suzann Freligh of Paragould. 2 nephews and 1 niece. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in Sherwood, AR.
