George Huckabee

George Michael "Mike" Huckabee, dear brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on April 16, 2025, at the age of 62, in his hometown of Paragould, Arkansas. Born on November 12, 1962, Mike lived a life marked by dedication, love, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys that life offers.

Mike was a proud graduate of Paragould High School and devoted his career to home health care, where he made a meaningful impact on the lives of those he served. His gentle spirit and compassionate nature were instrumental in providing comfort to many in their time of need.

A passionate music enthusiast, Mike found great joy in playing the bass guitar during his younger years and continued to embrace music in his life as a cherished pastime. He often shared his love of melodies with family and friends, fostering connections through the universal language of music.

In addition to his love for music, Mike was a fervent supporter of the St. Louis Cardinals, often seen cheering them on with enthusiasm, igniting the same passion in those around him. His zest for life and unwavering loyalty to his favorite team reflected his spirited nature and fueled many cherished moments with family and friends.

In his later years, Mike devoted significant time to caring for his mother, demonstrating an extraordinary commitment to family and selflessness that defined his character. He is survived by his brother, Jim Huckabee, along with his beloved nieces and nephews: Courtney Huckabee, Chris Huckabee, Cory Huckabee, Mischa Marler, and Blake Marler, who will carry on his legacy of kindness and compassion.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents Bonnie Huckabee and J.D. Huckabee, and his sister Pam Gann.
