Gayle Eden

Gayle McGloflin Eden (born Mary Ethyl Prock), wife of John E. Eden, adopted daughter of Margaret and Harold McGloflin, passed away January 5, 2011, at her home in Paragould, AR. at the age of 76 following a long illness. She was born June 5, 1934 at Little Rock, AR. Gayle and John were married December 20, 1958 in San Diego, CA where they lived until they moved to Paragould, AR in July, 2005. Gayle is survived by her husband: John, two daughters, Cherryl Ash of Tucson, AZ., Margaret Orona of Morrilton, AR., and one son, Geoffrey Eden of Santa Ana, CA., four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Also surviving, two sisters, Sally McGloflin Mobley of Morrilton, AR., Christine Prock Melton of Clayton, IN., two brothers, Sterling Prock of Danville, IN., and Perris Prock of Lebanon, MO. She was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers. Gayle was a member of First United Methodist Church of Paragould, a member of the Order of Eastern Star, and accomplished artist and devoted homemaker. Cremation is under the direction of Heath Funeral Home of Paragould, AR. A memorial service will be held at a later date and internment will be at the 100F Cemetery, Monett, MO.
