Gary Don "Donnie" Beasley

Gary Don "Donnie" Beasley, 65, of Paragould, passed from this life on March 9, 2023. He was born in Paragould on June 15, 1957, to the late Aubrey and Georgia Beasley. Donnie graduated from Paragould High School in 1975, and he married Hattie King on June 19, 1976. Donnie was a supervisor at Emerson Electric for years and eventually retired from Post. Donnie and his sons were avid bowlers and have several trophies to display from tournaments. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing; however, his favorite activity was spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors included his wife of 47 years, Hattie Beasley; sons, Kyle (Sammy) Beasley of Louisiana and Michael (Tiffinay) Beasley of Paragould; daughter, Dawn (Ryan) Skelton of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Alyssa Beasley, Payton Beasley, Graci Beasley, CJ Lenair, Alexis Beasley, Hailey Beasley, Laney Skelton, and Karly Skelton; great grandchildren, Rush Swearingen, Blaiize Swearingen, Khylan Tongusi, Laikyn Tongusi, and Asher Brooks Beasley; brother, Buck Beasley; and sister, Barbara Beasley.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 12-1 PM at Heath Funeral Home. A graveside funeral begins at 1:30 PM at Greene County Memorial Gardens with Rev. Kevin Edgar officiating. Pallbearers are Kyle Beasley, Buck Beasley, Bucky Beasley, Windell Rawls, Jacob Lenderman, and Cody Phillips. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Beasley, Danny Lenderman Jr., Jordan Phillips, and Ryan Skelton. In lieu of flowers, please honor Donnie by giving to the Arkansas Game & Fish Foundation.
