Freeda Foster

Freeda Foster, 85, of Marmaduke, passed from this life on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born in Ravenden Springs on September 1, 1938, to the late Arthur and Geneva Looney. Freeda graduated from Greene County Tech in 1957 and married Loyd Foster on November 10, 1959. She worked for Wal-Mart for many years. Most of her time at Wal-Mart was in the customer service department, but she moved to different areas in the store when needed. Freeda loved geneology, and she enjoyed to sew and crochet. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Foster; parents, Arthur and Geneva Looney; granddaughter, Ashley Guinnip; and great granddaughter, Kadence Hawkins.

Freeda is survived by her sons, Danny (Renee) Foster of Marmaduke, Keith Foster of Beebe, and Gregg (Josie Damron) Foster of Marmaduke; six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

Family and friends will meet at Mt. Zion Cemetery on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 1 PM for a graveside funeral with Rev. Kevin Edgar officiating.
