Freddie Leonard Quintana, born March 15, 1951, to Helen Quintana in Springer, New Mexico went to join his heavenly Father December 1, 2013. He was of the Catholic faith. Freddie, a subcontractor and owner of Fred’s Drywall, retired after beginning his battle with cancer. A veteran of the U. S. Army, Freddie was a highly respected man by all who knew him. An honest man, giving of himself, whenever and wherever the need may be. Freddie was also a talented singer and guitar player. Freddie was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Quintana. Survived by his loving children: Sheri Smith of Texhoma, OK, Amy Smith of Amarillo, Texas, Freddie Hatch of Tomball, TX, Father Lorenzo Hatch of Odessa, TX; brothers and sisters-in-law: Richard and Margie Quintana of Las Vegas, NM, Lorenzo and Anila Quintana of Lacy, WA, Henry and Lorraine Quintana, Lewis and Diann Quintana and Charles and Stacy Quintana all of Paragould; grandchildren: Jeffry, Justin, and Jimmy Montoya, Kimberly Baca, Amber Blea, Jeremiah Velarde, Averi Velarde, Raven Remling; great grandchild: Kaegan Baca; his loving companion: Darlene Howard and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. Pallbearers are Scott Quintana, Eric Quintana, Nicholas Quintana, Thomas Quintana, Charles Quintana, Jonathon Quintana and Sam Blea. His family will receive friends, Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at Heath Funeral Home from 6-8 P.M. His life will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 10:00 A.M.
