Freda Mae Lentz, 78, of Marmaduke, died Tuesday, February 10, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. She was born , at Marmaduke, the daughter of the late Newton and Ethel Reynolds. She was also preceded in death by her husband Charles; brother, James Reynolds; and sister, Mary Frances Reynolds. Freda married Charles Lentz, November 26, 1949, and was a devoted wife for 55 years. Freda was a business woman and homemaker. Her goal in life was to be a Christian example and enjoyed doing for her family and to help and cook for others. She was a member of the Marmaduke Church of Christ. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Venda and Jerry Hoggard, Charlene and Jerry Maleare, and Arlene and Roy Newsom; sisters, Melbaline Boling and Lovenia Brown; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Helen Reynolds; grandchildren, Misty Parr, Terri and Eric Reddick, Perry and Karen Maleare, Tamara Sims, Justin Newsom, and Leah Newsom; great grandchildren, Kaylee, Allie and Blakeli Parr, Emma Grace and Brookes Reddick, Morgan and Madison Maleare, and Riley and Charleston Sims. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8 at Heath Funeral Home in Paragould. Her life will be celebrated in Heath Colonial Chapel at 10:00 AM, Friday with Randy Brinkley and Albert Gardner officiating. Interment will follow at Harvey's Chapel Cemetery.
