Frankie Jo Thomas Arant, 85, of Paragould, died Wednesday at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. She was a case worker for the Arkansas Department of Human Services and a member of the First United Methodist Church. Frankie was preceded in death by her parents, David and Pearl Fouts Vandivor; daughters, Linda Thomas Jones Griggs and Becky Thomas Mitchell Crews Bowers; sisters, Ruby Davis and Gladys Ward; brothers, Jimmy and Ernest Vandivor and grandson, Joe Jones. She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Thomas (Don) Lamb of Gallatin, TN, Donna Thomas (Lathan) Hairston of Warren, AR; son, Roy Thomas, Jr.(Barry Edwards)of Oklahoma City, OK; brothers, Glen Noblin of Fredricksburg, MO, Homer Daniel (Margie) Vandivor of Sommerset, KY and Delbert Leon (Joyce) Vandivor of Pangburn, AR; grandchildren, Jennifer Lamb Garcia, Jill Lamb Freeman, Mark Thomas Lamb, Ashley Rhynes Herring, Matt and Whitney Hairston, Wendi Jones McDowell, Beth Mitchell Messer, Eric Mitchell, Natalie and Anthony Crews, Morgan Bowers. 16 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00-2:00 P.M. at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 P.M. in Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. John Fleming officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Rector.
