Frances Laverne Covington Cox, 80, of Light, died Sunday at Greene Acres Nursing Home. Frances was a bookkeeper, Cashier at Wal-Mart in Walnut Ridge, and worked at Woolworths and OTASCO in Paragould for 22 years. She attended Walnut Corner Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Thomas (Tom) Andrew Covington, Sr., 2nd husband, James Clinton Cox, sisters, Lena Clapp, Irene Bellah, Alene Medlin; brothers, John, Andrew and Charles Perry. Survivors include daughters, Jean Morrow of Light, Patty Greer of Little Rock and Debbie Smith of Paragould; son Thomas (Tommy) Andrew Covington, Jr. of Paragould; brothers, Earl Perry of Light and Elwood Perry of Muskegon, MI. 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday from 2:00-3:30 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3:30 P.M. at Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. George Haygood officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Knot Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Zak Burgess, Cody Crabtree, Christopher Covington, Jason Smith, Ross Ashford and Adam Shelton.
