Fay Virginia Watson Giles, 96, of Paragould, died on Saturday at Lexington Place. Fay was a Homemaker and loved camping, costume jewelry, gardening, and flowers. She was a very social person and loved walking. She ran 5K’s in her 70’s and 80’s and got mad when she didn’t win. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Joseph Giles and parents, Gentry and Clisty Haygood Watson.
Survivors include children, Danny (Jan) Giles, David Giles, Linda (Richard) Pope, Judy (Randy) Scott, Steve (Brenda) Giles, Scott (Sharlene) Giles, all of Paragould, Donna (Dave) Kuhn of Spanaway, WA, Sarah (Stan) Harris of Edgewood, WA, Martha Giles, of Puyallup, WA, Jeff (Teresa) Giles of Jonesboro, Beth (Jim) Allensworth of Paragould. Niece, Bonnie Price and half-brother, Jack Rowland. 19 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren.
Rosary will be Tuesday, March 12 at 6:00 P.M. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:30-8:00 P.M. at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday at 2:30 P.M. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Mike Sinkler officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
