Fannie Mae Cox, 88, of Paragould, passed away Thursday at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. She is the daughter of the late Jessie and Carmal Fleeman McEntyre. Fannie was retired from Monroe and enjoyed the outdoors, sewing, and cooking. She is also preceded in death by one daughter, Sandra Cox; brothers, Jerry McEntyre and J.C. McEntyre; and grandson, Wesley Cox.
Survivors include sons, Michael Cox (Joann), of Beech Grove, Gary Cox (Kristy), of Paragould, and Brad Cox, of Paragould; daughters, Brenda Hobbs (Gerald), of Lafe, and Anita Busby, of Paragould; brother, Everett McEntyre; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday from 5:00-7:00 pm at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home with Chad Wagner officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh cemetery.
