Fannie Beatrice Lenderman, 87, passed from this life on Monday, October 28, 2024. She was born on November 27, 1936, in Light, to the late Luther and Cora Gramling Shipman. She leaves behind a legacy that will forever be remembered by her loving sons, Randall (Francetta) Lenderman and Joseph (Audrey) Lenderman; daughters, Regina (Mike) Dupwe and Lori Mayfield; nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; brothers, James and Jerry Shipman; sister, Patricia Lenderman; and many nephews, nieces, and cousins. Fannie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John L. Lenderman; infant son, Charles Lenderman; great grandson, Oliver Cooper; brother, J.W. Shipman and Lee Shipman; and sisters, Sybil Stroud, Mary Thompson, Deronda Sheeks, Nadine Turner, and Lucille Shipman.
Fannie's life was adorned with simple pleasures and enduring love. Having graduated from Stanford High School in 1955, she was blessed to marry her beloved John on September 14, 1954. A dedicated homemaker, Fannie found joy in crafting and sewing, solving crossword puzzles, singing melodies that echoed throughout her home, and fishing with her family.
Throughout her 87 years, Fannie's unwavering faith led her to be a devoted member of Warren's Chapel Methodist Church for over eight decades, a testament to her steadfast commitment to her spiritual community.
In celebration of Fannie's remarkable life, a visitation will be held at Warren's Chapel Methodist Church on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, starting at 12:00 pm. The funeral will begin at 2 pm with burial to follow in Warren's Chapel Cemetery.
Fannie's essence will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her. As we bid her farewell in this earthly realm, we take solace in knowing that her spirit shall find eternal peace in the embrace of her dear departed ones. May her legacy of love and unwavering faith linger as a guiding light for generations to come.
