Evelyn Eleanor Hunter

Evelyn Eleanor Hunter, 89, of Walls, MS, formerly of Paragould, died on Friday in Memphis. She was a homemaker and a member of Griffin Memorial Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Hunter, parents, Walter Gardner and Josie Campbell Ellington and 11 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include son Jimmy D. Hunter (Celeste) of Newnan, GA; daughter, Shirley Hobbs (Joe) of Walls, MS; grandsons, Melvin Jetton, Chad Jetton (Mica), Cory Hunter and Christopher Hunter (heather); great grandchildren, Mikaela and Alayna Jetton.

Visitation will be Sunday from 6-8pm at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00am at Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Everett Isom officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Griffin Memorial United Methodist Church, 524 E. Court Street, Paragould, AR 72450.
