Euva Faye Witcher

Euva Faye Witcher, 97, of Paragould, passed from this life on Friday, May 19, 2023. She was born in Stanford on April 15, 1926, to the late Monroe and Dona Ward Slatton. Euva worked at Belk Simpson as a seamstress for many years. After retiring, she provided those services from the comfort of her home. Euva loved to quilt. She also made numerous Cabbage Patch clothes throughout the years. Euva was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She read her Bible every day. When asked if she had a favorite scripture or passage, she would reply "I like all of it". Euva was preceded in death by her parents, Monroe and Dona Slatton; husband, Almos Witcher; sons, Charles Junior Witcher and Danny Ray Witcher; granddaughters, Tonya Witcher and Melanie Henley; brother, Oliver Mustain; and sister, Viva Gazaway.

Euva is survived by her son, Dewayne (Kitty) Witcher of Paragould; grandchildren, Jeff Works, Stacy Witcher, Sherry Crafton, Danny Witcher, and Wendy Witcher; nine great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday, May 22, 2023, from 12-1 PM at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral will begin at 1 PM with Rev. Don Slatton officiating. Burial will follow in Greene County Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers are Stacy Witcher, Danny Witcher, Michael Henley, Jeff Works, Austin Crafton, and Dustin Crafton. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
