Ethel Louise Gamble, 85, of Black Oak, died Wednesday at her home. She was born April 2, 1923, in Lester, Arkansas, the daughter of the late John and Jennie Bell Cable Chipman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Benton “T.B.†Gamble; son, John Robert Gamble; grandson; four brothers; and three sisters. She was a homemaker and a member of Black Oak Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons Roger Benton Gamble of East Prairie, Missouri, David Gamble of Jonesboro, Jerry Max Gamble of Grady, Arkansas, Rolen Keith Gamble of Black Oak; daughter, Sharon Kay Gamble Rivera of Plano, Texas; brother, Preston Chipman of Cherokee Pass, Missouri; one grandson; three granddaughters; and two great-granddaughters. Her life will be celebrated today at 1:00 PM at Heath Colonial Chapel. Visitation will be this morning from 11:00 until service time with Reverend J.W. Gibbs officiating.
