Emma Nell “Emmy†Witt of Paragould died Monday at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. Emmy was a retired P.E. Teacherm Choral Director, Cheerleader Sponsor and producer of Homecoming at Paragould High School for many years and was Choir Director at First United Methodist Church for 25 years. Emmy was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Cora Rains Witt; sister and brother-in-law, Monra and Harold Riggs; aunt and uncle Serene and Albert Fowler and nephew, George Riggs, Sr. Survivors include great nephews, George Riggs of Rogers, AR, Chuck Riggs of Hot Springs; niece,Sherry Sue Riggs of Hot Springs. 5 great, great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday at Heath Colonial Chapel with Revs. Mike Morey and Tom Letchworth officiating. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Emmy Witt Scholarship at Endowment Foundation of Greene County.
