Elouise Jo Slater

Elouise Jo Slater, 84 of Paragould, died Thursday at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. She was a Homemaker and a member of the Newton Street Church of Christ. Elouise was preceded in death by her parents, Corbit and Myrtle Rodgers Rogers; brothers, Presley and L. C. Rogers and a granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Smith. Survivors include her husband Hugh Slater of Paragould; sons, Pat and Allen Slater of Paragould and Owen Slater of Lake City, AR; daughters Ella Jones and Shelly (Mitchell) Smith all of Paragould; sister, Bobbie Jean Wilson of Holland, MI and six Grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday at 1:30 P.M. at Heath Colonial Chapel with L. R. Smith and Larry Kitchens officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Allen, Owen and Pat Slater, Mitchell and Spencer Smith, Donnie Haff.
