Elfreda Fears

Elfreda Garner Fears, 82, of Paragould, died Thursday at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. She was born July 29, 1928 in Beech Grove, Arkansas the daughter of the late Robert S. and Delphia Howard Garner. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Donald Fears. She was a homemaker and a member of the Walcott Church of Christ. Survivors include her daughters: Donna Archer of Paragould, Cathy Reeves of Meridian, MS; sons: Ronnie Fears of Stanford, Jerry Dale Fears of Covington, GA; sisters: Lois Martin of Jonesboro, Nye Cureton of Cash; Faye Green of St. Louis, MO; brothers: Ambrose Garner of Tampa, FL; Neal Garner of Searcy. The family will receive friends from 5:30PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday at Heath Funeral Home. Her life will be celebrated at Heath Colonial Chapel, 2:00 PM, Sunday, with Art Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery. Pallbeares are Phil Yates, Kelly Gramling, Charlie Martin, Steve Martin, Phil Lee, and Monte Smith.
