Eileen Scantlin

Margaret Eileen Scantlin, 89, formerly of Paragould, of Strasburg, PA, died Thursday, September 5, 2013, at Fairmount Homes in Ephrata, PA. She was born August 25, 1924 the daughter of the late Marvin and Eunice Thompson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Steve Scantlin; brother, Cloyce Thompson and sister, Alma Patten. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Paragould. She is survived by her sons: Stanley E. and Nancy Scantlin of Strasburg, PA, Steven J. and Chou Chou Scantlin of Huntingtown, MD; sisters: Mabel Taylor, Devona Tedder, both of Paragould; Rachael Medsker of Eldon, MO, Barbara Arnold of Heber Springs, Mildred Hale of Wortham, TX; grandchildren: Pierce and Camille Scantlin of Alexandria, VA, Emilee and Jon Bruno of Roslindale, MA; great grandchildren: Xenia Scantlin, Nicholas and Massimilliano Bruno. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, at Linwood Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to First Baptist Church, 300 W.
