Edna Murlene Dial, 87, of Paragould, passed away Wednesday at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. She was a retired nurse and a member of East Side Baptist Church. Murlene was an avid reader. She also enjoyed quilting and cooking for her family. Murlene was the daughter of the late Arthur and Bessie McFall. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Adrian, Ramond, and Wayne McFall, and sisters, Mildred Smith and Vaudene Hammond.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Royce Dial; daughter, Regenia (Floyd) Landrum of Paragould; son, Kenny (Jeanne) Dial of Evans, Georgia; grandchildren, Andy Landrum, Nathan Dial, Matthew Dial, Jacob Landrum, Brandon Dial; 16 great grandchildren; sisters, Imogene Willey of Marietta, Georgia, Reba Cunningham and Ella Forrest of St. Louis, Missouri; and brother, Cecil (Mary) McFall of Dittmer, Missouri.
Visitation is Friday from 6-8 PM at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral is Saturday at 11 AM at Heath Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Dial officiating. Burial is in Greene County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Andy Landrum, Nathan Dial, Matthew Dial, Jacob Landrum, Brandon Dial, and Luke Landrum. Memorials may be sent to the Clark's Chapel Cemetery Fund or East Side Baptist Church.
