Edith Mae Mosbey, 90, of Paragould, passed from this life on Thursday, September 8, 2022. She was born on May 22, 1932, to the late Clifford and Pearl Payne Tennison. When she was sixteen, Edith married George Mosbey and moved to St. Louis. They eventually returned to Paragould where she worked at Belk's for years. In her spare time, Edith enjoyed quilting. She also spent many hours with the AMMC Women's Auxiliary. Edith was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers, Guy, Leon, and Alvin; and sisters, Ileen, Mathel, Ruth, and Thelma.
Survivors include her sons, Keith (Tracy) Mosbey of Paragould and Kerry (Kimberley) Mosbey of Texarkana, Arkansas; grandchildren, Matthew Mosbey and Mallorye Ring of Jonesboro, Justin (Paige) Mosbey of Conway, and Janae (Brady) Capshaw of Burleson, Texas; great grandchildren, Cash Mosbey, Collins Ring, Khaleesi Brewer, Declan Mosbey, Emerson Capshaw, and Sutton Capshaw; sister, Geraldine Wall; and many loving nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5-7 at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral is Monday at 10 am at Heath Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond Atwood and Bro. Tim Montgomery officiating. Burial is in Greene County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Matt Mosbey, Cash Mosbey, Justin Mosbey, Brady Capshaw, Rob Taylor, and Stan Mize. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to the AMMC Auxiliary.
