Eddie James Tedder, a proud Veteran of the Korean War and past owner of Eddie Tedder Dirt and Gravel, peacefully passed away on May 5, 2024. Born on November 28, 1931, in Walcott, to the late Ed and Selma Tedder, Eddie was known for his unwavering dedication to his country, his family, and his work.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jay Tedder, Mayo Tedder, and Maurice Tedder; and sisters, Mathel Foust, Mary Hall, and Clara Jane Hopkins.
Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife of 68 years, LouElla Tedder, and children, Jeanine (Mark) Wilbur, Jim Tedder, and Steve (Anita) Tedder. Eddie's legacy will also live on through his 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces, as well as the countless lives he touched throughout his lifetime.
A graveside service with military honors for Eddie James Tedder will take place at Shiloh Cemetery in Paragould on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 11:00 am with Rev. Marion Gramling officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be Chase Tedder, Luke Tedder, Cade Brackin, Marty Hopkins, Mitchell Gander, and Doyle Johnson. Eddie's contributions as a veteran and his commitment as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather will forever be remembered and treasured by all who knew him.
