Eathel Smith

April 17, 1923 — September 27, 2018

Eathel Marie Smith, 95, of Paragould, passed away Thursday at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. She was the daughter of the late Albert Lueallen and Edna Ezell. Eathel was of the Church of Christ faith and attended Newton Street and Walcott Churches of Christ. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting, and volunteering her time at church. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Warren J. Smith; sons, Charles Smith and Jimmy Wayne Smith; and daughters-in-law, Pam Smith and Ruby Smith.

Survivors include daughter, Charlene (Glenn) Lindsey, of Oakland, Tennessee; sons, Eugene (Marlene) Smith, of Jonesboro, Billy Joe (Margaret) Smith, of Paragould, John Warren "Jerry" Smith, of Paragould, James Edward Smith, of Lafe; sister, Junita Bryant, of Grand Blanc, Michigan; twenty-five grandchildren; fifty-three great grandchildren; and forty-four great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday from 1:30-3:00 pm at Heath Funeral Home. Graveside service at Greene County Memorial Gardens will follow with the procession leaving at 3:00 pm. Pallbearers will be her grandsons Brian Smith, Brock Smith, Dillon Smith, Jarrod Smith, Jerry Ray Smith, and Sean Harris. Send memorials to Children's Home of Paragould.
