Earnie Martin Howell

Earnie Martin Howell, 79, of Paragould passed away Friday, February 15, 2019 at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro. Earnie was born July 31 ,1939 in Paragould to the late Lloyd and Cora Euday Howell. Earnie retired in 2004 from the Arkansas Department of Workforce Services (Employment Security Dept.) after 37 years of service where he served as office manager in both Jonesboro and Walnut Ridge offices. He also served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1963 to 1969 and was of the Baptist belief.

Earnie is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sharon Howell and step-son Marc Sayle.

Survivors include sons Earnest Todd Howell of Jonesboro and Brandon Lloyd Howell of Paragould, one step-daughter Shannon (Timothy) Johnson of Covington, TN, grandchildren Price and Seth Johnson, Emily and Landon Howell and Kirk Broadway ; and three great grandchildren.

A Memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, February 20, 2019 from 4:30-6:00 pm at Heath Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life following at 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Wounded Warrior Project.
