Dwight Wayne Kieffner

On January 16, 1952, Dwight Wayne Kieffner was born the second son of Amos “Pug” Kieffner and Pauline McIntyre Kieffner. Dwight died on Monday at his residence. Dwight met Donna Boozer in August of 1971. They both knew God had brought them together. They were united in marriage on April 17, 1972. They were just short of 41 years together. On March 6, 1973, they were blessed with a daughter, Taunya Jean, then on January 9, 1976, their first son, Kevin Wayne and Bradley Alan arrived on February 23, 1984, Taunya and Adam Allbritton were married on June 4, 1994. Their greatest gifts to Dwight and Donna were their sons Nathan and Braden Allbritton. Dwight is survived by his wife Donna, daughter, Taunya (Adam) Allbritton of Greenbrier, AR; grandsons, Nathan and Braden Allbritton; sons, Kevin Kieffner of Houston, Tx, Brad Kieffner of Jonesboro; mother, Pauline Kieffner of Paragould; brothers, Eric (Phyllis) Kieffner of Jonesboro, Paul (Alice) Kieffner of Paragould; sisters, Paula (Stan) Smith of Sherwood, AR and Leisa Reynolds of Paragould; nephews, Shannon and Josh Kieffner, Matt and Dillon Smith; nieces, Erica Milianta, Heather Hutchison and Caitlin Reynolds; a great-niece and 4 great nephews. Dwight spent 38 years in the lamination department of Emerson Electric, where they became family, also. He loved spending time with his grandsons. Throughout his life, God and his family were his first loves. Motorcycles, fishing, hunting and his many friends came in close behind. Dwight was raised at Robb’s Chapel Baptist Church and was later a member of West View Baptist Church, now a member of a heavenly choir. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00-8:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday at 2:00 P.M. at Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Marc Reeves officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Franks, Doug Threlkeld, Johnny Reeves, Charles Willis, Phillip Pierceall, Josh Kieffner, Justin Goodson and Brian Miles. Honorary pallbearers will be the GCT Class of 1970, Lamination Department at Emerson Electric and members of his Sunday School Class.
