Donna Brightwell

Donna Jean Brightwell, a loving mother, grandmother, and sister, passed from this life on July 3, 2024, at the age of 65. Born on July 5, 1956, in California, she was known to her family and friends as a kind-hearted individual who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Donna, a dedicated factory worker employed by Arkla in the manufacturing industry, will be remembered for her hard work and perseverance throughout her life.

In her leisure time, Donna enjoyed watching classic western shows like Bonanza, displaying a deep appreciation for the history and essence of the Wild West. Her love for spending time with friends brought her immense happiness and created lasting memories with those she held dear. Additionally, Donna had a fondness for smoking cigarettes, which often accompanied her moments of relaxation.

Donna is survived by her beloved sons, Adam Brightwell and Joseph Settlemoir; granddaughter, Holly Brightwell; former husband and best friend, Steve Brightwell; and brother, Joey Pendleton. She was preceded in death by her parents. Her memory will forever be treasured by those who knew her.

A memorial visitation will be held at Heath Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, from 5-7 pm. The visitation will provide an opportunity for family, friends, and acquaintances to pay their respects and celebrate the life of a remarkable woman. May she rest in peace.
