Donald Wayne Simpkins, 88, of Paragould, died Wednesday at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. Donald was a factory worker for General Motors . He was Preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Ethel Rouse Simpkins; wife, Vonnie Simpkins; daughter, Donna Vicki Simpkins; sons, Danny, Steve , Mitchell, Mark Simpkins, and Richard Davis, brothers, States Skipper, Ira Doherty, Jr. and Larry Doherty; sister, Barbara Morris. Survivors include children, Brenda (Robert) Davis of Mt. Morris, MI, Don (Carol) Simpkins, Jr., Dennis (Tracey) Simpkins of Blairsville, GA, Sandra (Tim) Reip of Flint, MI, Tonya (Jerry) White of Wilmore, KY, Roger (Sherry) Davis, Walcott, AR, Brenda Ramthun of Paragould, Roy (Christy) Simpkins of Jonesboro, AR and Darian (Debbie) Simpkins of Paragould, AR. Visitation will be Monday , July 28, 2014, from 2:00-3:30 at Heath Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 4:00 P.M. Monday at Clarks Chapel Cemetery with Eric Newberry officiating.
