Donald Eugene Robertson, Sr.

Donald Robertson, Sr. of Sullivan passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at his home in Woodland Lakes at the age of 70 years, four months, and fourteen days. Donald was born August 11, 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Marion Boyd and Reiva Louise Alexander Robertson. He and Wanda Raylene Staires were married in 1984 in Bridgeton, Missouri. Mr. Robertson worked for 34 years at MacDonald Douglas where he was a chemical processor of aircraft parts, a very dangerous and demanding job. He was a member of the Machinist Union while employed. In his younger days he enjoyed the outdoors hunting and fishing. He was member of the Meramec Valley Baptist Church. Mr. Robertson is survived by his wife, Wanda Ralene (Staires) Robertson, a son, Donald Robertson, Jr., and wife, Cathleen, of Arnold, MO and a grandson, Kyle Robertson, a niece and nephew and many friends. Visitation is from 9:00-10:30 at Heath Funeral Home, Monday, December 30 with a graveside service following, 11:00 AM, at Hartsoe Cemetery in Marmaduke.
