Don Gene Gatlin

Don Gene Gatlin, 73 of Jonesboro, formerly of Paragould, died Monday at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. Don was a member of the First Baptist Church in Jonesboro and worked in Appliance Sales at Sears in Jonesboro from 1971-2000. He was a 1956 graduate of Paragould High School. Don was preceded in death by his parents, William Thomas”Bill” and Wilma Frances Boone Gatlin and a grandson, Jordan Tyler Gatlin. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Gatlin of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Nan Gatlin of Jonesboro; daughters and son-in-law, Donna Davis of Jonesboro and Christa and Dale Spence of Marion, AR; brothers, Tommy Gatlin of Corpus Christi, TX and Sharon Joe Gatlin of Paragould; sisters, Barbara Sue Gatlin of Upland, CA and Linda Tauberschmidt of Jonesboro. Grandchildren, Allison and Parker Davis, Blake, Brianna, Noah and Ava Clair Gatlin and Hayden Spence. Memorial services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday at First Baptist Church in Jonesboro with Rev. Bruce Tippit officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 until service time at the church.
