Dewey Wayne Norman, 87, passed away Monday at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Peters, Missouri. He was the son of the late Charlie and Verneal Norman. Dewey was of the Baptist faith and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean war. In his spare time, he enjoyed working with youth sports, teaching boys Sunday School class, and coaching little league baseball. He was a caring husband with a gentle spirit who loved his family. Dewey is also preceded in death by his sister, Louise Norman and two brothers, J.W. and Charles Max.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Patsy Cox Norman; one son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Laurie Norman; two grandchildren and their spouses, Bryan and Suzzane Norman and Rachael and Curt Conklin; three great grandchildren, Kaley Tedder, Miles and Daphne Norman.
A visitation will be held Thursday, February 14, 2019 from 10-11:00 am at Heath Funeral Home, graveside services will follow at Linwood Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Marion Gramling officiating.
