Delois Elaine Worden

Delois Elaine Worden, 75, of Paragould, passed from this life on Sunday, July 3, 2022. She was born on October 25, 1946, to the late James Roy and Emma Delitha Hunt. Elaine was married on July 26, 1975, to her childhood sweetheart, Ronald Worden, Sr., who preceded her in death. Together they raised four children, Ron Worden of Charlotte, Michigan, Tony Worden of Lowell, Michigan, and Michelle Young and Bud Worden, both whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Sue Worden. She had sixteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Elaine was a beautician for part of her life, but her passion for life was on the carnival with her father. She worked in the popcorn wagon making caramel, candy apples, cotton candy, and, of course, popcorn and caramel corn. After her carnival life, she moved to Florida to be with her father and mother. Upon their deaths, she wished to return to Paragould to be with her family whom she dearly loved, especially her aunt Reba who was the biggest reason for being in Paragould. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her with her legacy living on in her sons and grandchildren.

Family and friends will meet at Greene County Memorial Gardens for a graveside funeral on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at 1 pm with Dr. Marc Reeves officiating.
