David Rex Franks

Rex Franks, 71 of Paragould died Sunday at St. Bernard’s in Jonesboro. He was retired from Emerson Electric and was of the Baptist faith. He was born July 28, 1939, to Frank and Gladys Lamb Franks. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 26 years Peggy Buchanan; brothers, Charles, Gene, Roy and Bobby Franks, Weldon and Charles Kelly May, one sister, Lavedna Dick. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Dana (Dinnon) Butler of Jonesboro, LA; granddaughter, Ashley Butler of Jonesboro, LA; brother and sister-in-law, Dale (Sarah) Franks of Paragould; sister, Linda May Clayton of Atlanta, GA; special friend Belinda Huffine Franks of Paragould and a host of Nieces and Nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6-8 at Heath Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. at Shiloh Cemetery with Bro Randy Lee officiating. Pallbearers will be Dinnon Butler, Perry Lashley, Dennis Hampton, Terry Dillard, Curt Branscum, Jerry Tabor, Bill Brewington, Dickie Beggs. Honorary Pallbearer, Dennis Hyde.
