David Eugene Sparks

David E. Sparks, also known as Gene or Sparky, 68, Paragould, died December 9th, 2012 at St. Bernard's Hospital in Jonesboro. David was born in Malden, Missouri, the son of the late Elmer and Ida Sparks. He graduated from Arbyrd High School in 1963. He is survived by his children: Gayla Cox of Bellevue, Nebraska, and Mark Sparks of Paragould; grandchildren: Kristiana and Brianne Cox and Cody Sparks; brother: Jack Sparks of Cardwell, Missouri; sisters: Willie Spaeth of Little Rock and Jewell Campbell of North Carolina. David served his country during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Marines. He is retired from Southwestern Bell and was a member of the McDonalds round table where his wisdom and knowledge will be greatly missed. There will be no services.
