Darwin Blake Goehring

Darwin Blake Goehring, 80, of Paragould, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2013, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. He was born August 21, 1933, in Grand Island, Nebraska. He was retired from Monroe Auto Equipment Company and Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. Darwin was an Air Force veteran and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Paragould. Darwin was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Brown Goehring and his parents, Dr. Walter E. Goehring and Linda Miller. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Mike Harvey of Paragould; grandsons Corey Lemieux and Mika Weaver of Jonesboro; nephew and niece, Harold and Cheryl Yeargain of Paragould and many out of town nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Memorial services will be Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. at Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. John Fleming officiating. Burial services will be private. Family requests that memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church, 404 West Main Street, Paragould, AR 72450.
