Darlene Howard

Darlene Howard, born on April 7, 1956, left this world on August 4, 2024. A cherished mother and kind-hearted woman, she spent her days brightening the lives of those around her with her generous spirit and willingness to lend a helping hand.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, Nolan McConnell and Thelma McDaniel; her sister, Phyllis Arnold; her brother, James McConnell; and her best friend, Freddie Quintana. 

Darlene will forever be remembered by her loving daughter, Monica Bland (Dustin Clifton) of Paragould; her brother Elvin McConnell; her grandchildren, Brandon Bland, Brittney Hill, and Matthew Clifton; her great-great grandchild, Blaze Bland; her beloved fur babies, Peppie and Jasper; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Her warm presence and caring nature touched the hearts of all who knew her, leaving a lasting impact on the lives she encountered.

As we reflect on Darlene's life and the love she shared, may we remember her light so that it will continue to shine in our hearts forever.

A Memorial Service to honor Darlene's life will take place at Labor Day Park on Saturday, August 17, at 1pm. Dustin Clifton will be presiding.
