Daniel J. Howe, 80, of Paragould, died Friday at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He retired from General Motors Buick after 30 years. He was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. Daniel was an avid quail hunter, fisherman, loved to garden, was a 32nd degree mason, a member of the Paragould Masonic Lodge and a Shriner. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Eula Roush Howe; brothers, J.L., Joseph, Alphous and Gary Howe; sisters, Martha LaRoe and Helen Dearin. Survivors include his wife, Mary Howe of the home; brother, Alvin (Pat) Howe of Paragould; sisters; Sharon (Jerry) Howard of Paragould, Mary (Gilbert) Hart of Hoxie. Several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. David Stallings officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro or the Paragould Mason Lodge.
