Dale "Reid" Worsley, of Black Rock, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at the age of 66. He was born on January 27, 1958, to the late Harry Dale Worsley and Letha Jean Worsley.
Throughout his life, Reid found joy in expressing himself through his artistry; he worked as a painter and had a passion for painting and drawing. Beyond his artistic talents, he possessed a knack for preserving the bounty of nature, often delighting in canning vegetables, jams, and jellies. Reid's culinary skills extended beyond canning; his proficiency in the kitchen knew no bounds, and he was known for his delicious cooking.
In his leisure, Reid found solace by the water, often spending his days fishing. It was in these moments that he was able to unwind and connect with nature, finding peace and tranquility in the gentle rhythm of the waves.
In his professional life, Reid made his mark in the construction industry, showcasing his dedication and expertise in every project he undertook. His time spent in construction and as a painter allowed him to leave his mark on the world, one brushstroke at a time.
Reid is survived by his daughter, Leanne Rose of Jonesboro; grandsons, Blake Fontz and Cameron Fontz of Temple, Texas; granddaughter, Harley Fontz of Brookland; great-grandchildren, Coy Gonzales, Esequiel Trejo, and Ayla Trejo; step-mother, Loree Worsley; brother, Jonathan Worsley; sisters, Yvonne Flippo, Beth Talle, Jeana Firgara, and Kim Thomas; half-brother, Ronnie Worsley; and half-sister, Loretta Easley. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Danyel Worsley; and brother, Chuck Worsley.
Reid Worsley will be remembered for his artistic talent, culinary skills, and love for the outdoors. He leaves behind a profound legacy of creativity and warmth that will be cherished by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
