Craig Stephen Nanke

Craig Nanke, 70, of Paragould, passed away Wednesday at AMMC in Paragould. He was a retired Quality Assurance Manager and former history teacher. Craig loved golf and reading history and political science. He was a classically trained pianist for over 10 years. He was a European Sports Car Enthusiast, enjoyed Pink FLoyd and the Beatles, and had a love for his dogs. Craig was the son of the late Richard and Edythe Freburg Nanke.He was adopted at 3 months old by his parents from the Soldiers and Orphans Home of Davenport, Iowa.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Susan Elizabeth Nanke of Paragould; daughter and son-in-law, Shay Elizabeth and Jeremy Willis of Paragould; granddaughter, Keagan Elizabeth Willis, Paragould; brother and sister-in-law, Trent and Nancy Nanke of Naperville, IL; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Saturday from 3:30 to 5 pm at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral begins at 5 with Revs. John Fleming and Heath Williams officiating. Honorary pallbearers are members of the Paragould Newcomers and Neighbors, Elton Hart, and Robin Jurczyk. Send memorials to First United Methodist Church or the AMMC Foundation.
