Col. Tyrone Roland Stephens, Ret.

Col. Tyrone Roland Stephens, Ret., 67, of Jonesboro, AR peacefully passed away Saturday. He was born April 30, 1947 in Denver, Colorado to Carmen and the late Alexander Stephens. Ty proudly served 36 years in the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his father, Alexander. Ty is survived by his wife, Deborah Stephens, Jonesboro; daughters, Tisha (Jeff) Naughton, Cheyenne, Wyoming and Laura (Devin) O’Dell of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Tyler, Alexis, Matthew, Madison Naughton and Makayla O’Dell; mother, Carmen; and brothers, Mike and Alex Stephens of Oregon. Pallbearers will be Jeff Naughton, Devin O’Dell, James Reeves, Nathan Reeves, Bo Brewer and Mike Murphy. The family will receive friends at Heath Funeral Home from 1:00 -2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
