Clyde Almer Mcfarland

Clyde Almer McFarland, 94 of Paragould died Friday at Heritage Nursing Center in Kennett, MO. Clyde was a truck driver for a transport service, worked for F. W. Woolworth store in the maintenance department. He was a member of the Grace United General Baptist Church and attended East Side Baptist Church. Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Susue Alma Bass McFarland; sisters, Esther Colston, Juanita Bateman, Mildred Richardson and Irma Dean McFarland; brother, Howard McFarland. Survivors include his wife of 73 years, Bessie McFarland of the home; daughter, Patsy Porter of Paragould; grandchildren, Robyn Goranti of Arnold, MO, Tania Reiker of Dexter, MO, Carla Porter of Arnold, MO and Shannon Porter of Imperial, MO; brother, Hershel McFarland of St. Charles, MO; sister Reba Massey of St. Louis, MO. 11 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at Heath Colonial Chapel with Revs. Shannon Porter and Royce Schanda officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society or the East Side Baptist Church.
