Clifford "Wayne" Dowler

Clifford "Wayne" Dowler, 75 of Paragould died Friday, February 3, 2012 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. He was born December 19, 1936 in Lafe, Arkansas the son of the late Bert and Ruth Wilson Dowler. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Tony, Jack and Jim Dowler, sisters, Marie Martin, Sena Cole and Bertha Davidson. He was a 1956 graduate of Lafe High School and a U.S. Army Veteran. Wayne was retired from General Motors in St. Louis after 35 years and was member of East Side Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with family, working in the yard and loved spending time at the lake. Survivors include his wife, Loretta White Dowler, of the home; sons and daughters-in-law: Terry and Bronwyn Dowler of Springfield, Missouri, Tim and Lisa Dowler of Paragould; brothers: Bill and Larry of Paragould, Harold and Jerry of Lafe, and Robert of Marmaduke; sisters: Gloria Lacy of Florsitell, Missouri and Cheryl Jones of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; grandchildren: Wesley, Stephanie, Sarah and Seth Dowler of Springfield, Missouri; Brittney, Brooke and Brady Dowler of Paragould. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Sunday at Heath Funeral Home. His life will be celebrated at Heath Colonial Chapel, 10:00 AM Monday, with Reverend's Eddie Gene Wright and Jason Noel officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery.
