Claude J. Tenison, 90, of St. Louis, Missouri, died on Wednesday, January 30, 2013, in St. Louis. He was born Thursday, April 22, 1927 in Fontaine, Arkansas the son of the late Charlie and Lillie Tenison. Mr. Tenison was a long time resident of St. Louis, MO and a retired lineman of General Motors Division, Local #25, of the United Auto Workers. He served in the Army during WWII and was a disabled veteran. He was a former Commander of the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter No. 53, St. Louis, MO. Services. Beloved husband of the late Mildred E. Tenison (nee Perry); dear father and father-in-law of Sharon P. (Michael C.) Prost and the late Randle E. Tenison; dear grandfather of Gregory, Andrew and Matthew Prost; dear great-grandfather of Landon J. Prost; dear son of the late Charlie and Lillie Tenison; dear brother and brother-in-law of Emma Sue (late Dan) Muse, Eugene (Esther) Tenison, the late Edward (late Clara) Tenison, the late Baciel (Tessy) Tenison, the late Earnest (late Gladys) Tenison, the late J.C. (Minnie) Tenison, the late Roe Etta Meister, Dorotha Smith, Anna Lou Brown, the late Mary Louise (Allen) Nauch, Homer C. (late Marie) Perry, Lewis C. (Mary) Perry and the late Curtis H. Perry; our dear uncle, cousin and friend. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Heath Colonial Chapel on Sunday, February 3, 2012. His life will be celebrated at 1:00 PM at Heath Colonial Chapel with Lonnie Pyle officiating. Burial will follow at Lorado Cemetery where there will be military honors.
